FAQs & Policies
How long is a visit?
We offer 30 / 45 / 60 minute visits. You get to pick what suits your pets needs best!
Will it be the same sitter every time?
Whenever possible, yes. We are looking to add new members to the team to be able to assign you a primary sitter, so your pet builds a relationship with one person.
Are you insured and bonded?
We carry insured and bonded through Pet Sitters Associates LLC, and every sitter passes a criminal background check before their first solo visit.
How do you handle my house keys?
Keys are labelled with your pet’s name only – Never your last name or address.
What happens in bad weather?
Dogs still need to go out. In severe weather we shorten time outdoors and spend the remaining minutes drying, cleaning up, and playing indoors.
Can you administer medication?
Yes. We can administer oral and topical medications as well as injections.
What if there is an emergency?
We contact you immediately and, if we can’t reach you, transport your pet to your listed vet or the nearest emergency clinic.
How do I book and pay?
Through our online client portal on the Time to Pet app. You can schedule visits, update your pet’s info, and pay by card, 24/7. You can also pay by check, making it payable to Coastal Pet Sitting LLC.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations inside 24 hours are billed at full visit rate. Cancel at least 25 hours before your visit and there’s no charge.
Do you charge more holidays?
Yes. Visits booked on a holiday are double the standard rate, as we pay our associates double time for working on holidays.
